The abstract paintings and interdisciplinary projects I am creating seek to make colors audible and sounds visible.  Through color saturation, pattern and repetition, the vibration emanating from the hues and edges in my paintings stimulate my ears as well as my eyes. This sensate awareness invites playful experimentation and an open-ended working style that echoes the chaotic beauty of life.

Often doubling as interactive performances, my painting installations encourage viewers to hear the potential voice of each painting and its specific colors. These interventions utilize interactive digital media have evolved into several collaborative projects like the Reverse Color Organ, The Alphabet Game and Community Sing.
