Viewer/participants are invited to sing or sound out a spectrum of colors. Once they've got their chops, they are then invited to sound out fully realized paintings organized within a site specific installation. I often document these sessions in the hopes of finding constants within their expressions of the sounds of colors. Once I've gathered enough research from these interventions with viewers, I may see trends emerging, perhaps an innate synaesthetic grammar that blends colors with sounds as we explore the nature of animation in abstract art.
